Fast Forward was a bit I wrote some time in early 2013. It was part of a batch of 6-10 songs that never really turned into anything. The only other track that made the album from that batch was Garden. It was recorded outside in Santa Rosa at a friend's house on the "summer couch". This session had a lot of good music and included the whole writing process of a song called "Faces". Fast Forward was never "finished" as I intended to add parts, but I was happy with the version that made it to the album.
lyrics
Its not my time to make pretend, callous eyes are over stretched and I cannot repair them.
I won’t wait for the justified and I won’t waste my little time to settle in the suburbs.
So fast forward so we can feel success
So fast forward no longer in distress..
No longer in distress..
