about

Universal Frost was written with Machiavellian and Margery as an intended foundation for an album. Another song called "Me, Myself, and Things" was the fourth of the batch that never really got recorded. This writing period took place in Danville, while Universal Frost was recorded in the basement of SSU's Ives Hall. The version that made the album is one of my favorite tracks I've ever done. It was also one of the most difficult songs to mix/master.

lyrics

Cast me away, the universal frost is here time to clear the way
So I took a stroll that day and found me a hidden bay
Tucked behind a hill, I’m going back tomorrow
You’ll never understand unless you come down tomorrow away from your space
Away from the darkened days
The skies will rain down in colors of pink and gold washing away the old
Cast me away, the universal frost is here time to excavate
The hours are wounded and full, but I won’t leave this school
Metaphorical and mine, I’m going back tomorrow
No one to love so call me again wasting my stars on no one’s expense
Universal frost thawing in spring no winter left to hide our mistakes
From all the above and all that we lost
So give me your lust and we’ll end what’s done..
